Responsibilities:
Documentation and Reporting:
Assist engineers and project managers by maintaining organized and up-to-date project files, drawings, certificates and documentation.
Prepare owner manual, drawing and certificate packages to accompany vessel deliveries.
Project Support:
Collaborate with engineers, project managers and supply chain personnel to ensure up-to-date technical documents and drawings are received, filed and appropriately distributed.
Work closely with engineers to develop and ensure accuracy of bill of materials.
Assist engineers, project managers and supply chain personnel with material selection.
Assist engineers, project managers and supply chain personnel with compiling material specifications.
Review vendor provided documentation for completeness and compliance.
Communication Facilitate communication among engineering, supply chain, project management and equipment suppliers.
Relay technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in engineering technology, mechanical or industrial engineering, or a related field preferred High Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook required.
Proficiency in using CAD software (e.
g.
, AutoCAD) preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with engineering principles and terminology.
Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records.
